What You'll Do - Position tasks

As a member of our team, you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following Job responsibilities:

   » Serve as the marketing liaison and lead for recruiting activities and initiatives for the College of Fine Arts & Communication
   » Work with the College of Fine Arts & Communication on branding and messaging strategies for both undergraduate and graduate programs through targeted research while in compliance with university overarching strategies
   » Seek out and assist in coordinating recruitment activities with the directors and chairs of College of Fine Arts & Communication programs and departments. Specifically, University Fall and Spring Open House Events, College Recruiting Events, Summer Programs and Admitted Student Day Events
   » Work closely with the Office of Admissions in recruiting prospective students interested in programs in the College, to include various outreach practices and work within the University CRM
   » Together with the university's marketing division, develop enrollment templates and procedures to promote programs and departments
   » Coordinate and manage social media platforms presenting a cohesive presence for the university and College of Fine Arts & Communication
   » Perform the function of college web liaison by updating and maintaining College of Fine Arts & Communication web site; providing training and support in the content management system for other users in the college.
   » Implement website changes in line with web accessibility and search engine optimization standards.
   » Communicate effectively with college subject matter experts to develop content for recruiting purposes
   » Write and distribute news releases as necessary to highlight students, faculty, staff, events and other notable promotions for departments and programs within the college.
   » Write, edit and design the college annual magazine, Sights & Sounds Attend college events, performances and concerts as needed
   » Work with faculty and directors to assist with branding, messaging and promotion of college events, performances and concerts
   » Work with other college marketing coordinator counterparts to coordinate joint activities and share related information and best practices
   » Work with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to assure prospective students have the most accurate information concerning their financial aid package
   » Work with the Office of Alumni Affairs to promote College of Fine Arts & Communication products to graduates of Lamar University
   » Assist in coordinating orientation programs for students accepted into the College of Fine Arts & Communication. Assist in meeting and exceeding the College's enrollment goals through targeted and collaborative efforts across the University and College
   » Serve as the College of Fine Arts & Communication representative on the University Yield Flight Team
   » Assist in coordinating the College of Fine Arts & Communication commencement activities
