Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill three part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) Ranch adjunct positions for the Eastern Oregon Agricultural Research Center (EOARC) at the Union Experiment Station in Union, Oregon for Oregon State University (OSU).

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN UNION, OREGON, SIX HOURS FROM CORVALLIS.

Position tasks THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN UNION, OREGON, SIX HOURS FROM CORVALLIS.

100% May include:
   » Data collection
   » Care and maintenance of barnyard facilities
   » Maintaining haystacks and grounds
   » Ranch night checks
   » Fence maintenance/repair
   » Other tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications Employment Eligibility Requirements (http://fa.oregonstate.edu/stu-manual/500-employment-eligibility-requiremen ts)

Additional Required Qualifications practice working in a farm/ranch setting preferred.

Preferred (Special) Qualifications
Working Conditions / Work Schedule Anticipated 20 hours per week.
Work is performed in barns and outdoors in various locations, off main campus.
May have exposure to noxious odors, loud noises, and machinery.
May be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
May maneuver up to 50 lbs. and may be required to stoop, bend and kneel on hard floors as necessary.
Flexible hours (mornings and late nights) as needed to complete experiments/projects.
