Position Description:
The Ticketing Application Manager is responsible for the prosperous operation of The Franklin Institute's ticketing process. This will require superviseing the Galaxy Ticketing system to ensure that operational goals and customer service standards are met. The Ticketing Database Manager works closely with multiple departments to implement strategies and policies that will efficiently and effectively execute the Museum's ticketing initiatives.
Position Requirements
   » supervise The Franklin Institute's ticketing system to ensure that Information technology functions in conformity with established standards.
   » Create all tickets and events for the Museum's programs.
   » Museum's advocate to the ticketing software provider.
   » Be the Project Manager for all new ticket sales initiatives; working closely with staff members from multiple departments.
   » Administer to the webstore, developing initiatives and processes by which all Franklin Institute events can be placed on sale in a timely and concise manner.
   » Work to develop the means to sell tickets to new products with the originating departments.
   » Exposure to Raiser's Edge console application.
   » Working in conjunction with the Information technology department, conduct investigations about system errors and create solutions as needed to ensure proper functionality.
   » Support Marketing initiatives through proper communication of the system's abilities and develop new tickets and reports as needed.
   » Work with the Finance and Information technology departments to establish ticket and revenue validation procedures and protocols for all ticket system reports.
   » Develop and Implement effective programs for the purposes of training.
Mandatory Requirements:
   » College degree or a minimum of 2 years' practice in a function administrating systems in a ticketing, box office or similar environment.
   » Should possess familiarity with SQL script language.
   » Proven Project Management practice and excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational expertise required.
   » The Ticketing Database Manager must be willing to work irregular hours as required, as well as some evenings.
