This office has oversight and responsibility for academic, financial, personnel, alumni, advancement, and development activities of the Miller School. Job tasks This position is related to the expansion of the development phase of the Accelerate Rural NC grant. Success will be driven largely by the Accelerate Rural Program Instruction Coordinator and measured by community partnership engagement, program offerings with partners, and number of participants. tasks consist of: • Strategic design of program grant content. The position will work with both video program designers and community partners to develop an acceptable, digital program. • Independent decision making related to market plan development and recruitment • Guest speaking to community organizations including Small Business Centers, Military Business Centers, Women Business Centers, and the Small Business and Technology Development Center. • Cultivating relationships with community partners for digital program launch. • Deliver content to train community partners • Managing student workers to deliver content • Designing promotional products and web content to promote the program with the assistance of university staff Contingent upon available funding. Minimum Education/practice Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree plus 2-3 years of related practice.
