Job Summary/Basic Function: Job Summary: The Enrollment Management (EM) Analyst - Student Success provides analytics and tracking reports through the Student Success Management System (EAB Navigate) to improve student academic performance and persistence towards prosperous completion of the baccalaureate degree. This position provides a dynamic work environment that allows one to continuously develop their problem solving expertise, critical thinking expertise, and data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate demonstrates analytical expertise such as data analysis, research, and communicating complex data to a variety of team members. The Analyst assists with implementing and supporting institution-wide success initiatives utilizing predictive analytics and case management technologies. Other tasks include participation in the evaluation of policies and procedures related to these initiatives and assists in the coordination through end-user training and support, technical support and system troubleshooting. This position reports to the Executive Director of Retention and Student Success. Benefits include health insurance and other benefits as an employee of the State of Texas. tasks/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
   » Assist the Executive Director of Retention and Student Success and Directors in the strategic planning and implementation of assessment measures for overall program effectiveness and outcome assessment with a focus on access, retention and student success.
   » Utilize the Student Success Management System (EAB Navigate) to assist university departments with data analysis goals.
   » Develop and maintain strategic relationships and collaborations with faculty, campus and community partners and alumni.
   » Facilitate the collection and analysis of data and produce ad-hoc and standard reports as needed in collaboration with the University Information technology department.
   » Serve as the Student Success liaison with the University Information technology department for any Information technology related needs.
   » Represent the Student Success on various University committees involving assessment and technology.
   » Develop and maintain student engagement tracking, monitoring and assessment system for Student Success programming.
   » Assist with the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the success technologies, such as Student Success Management System (EAB Navigate):
o Provide end-user support. Monitor departmental email and requests submitted by end users and triage the requests.
o Support Specialists and end-users by covering functional questions/issues related to retention software. Share information as Information technology becomes available from the vendor about updates.
o Develop and deliver training and user support materials to faculty and staff
o Aid departments in choosing departmental specific configurations and offer suggestions.
   » Consistently validate Student Success Management System (EAB Navigate) data to ensure accuracy and consult with EAB and Lamar University I.T. department to address any errors.
   » Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Appropriate qualifications: Minimum Appropriate qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree required.
· Minimum two years' work practice, preferably in higher education, information technology and/or
· Excellent written and verbal communication expertise.
· Able to effectively and proactively network with all university professionals.
· Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership abilities, and presentation expertise.
· Competency and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
