Job Summary/Basic Function: Job Summary:
The enrollment marketing manager serves as an Integral member of the enrollment management team. This position is responsible for leading the strategic marketing initiatives in an effort to drive student success and retention. This includes making creative strategies and direction for advertising, marketing materials, and campaigns. Lamar University is seeking a talented and motivated candidate to take creative charge that will design, develop, and produce content for print and electronic communications related to enrollment and retention. Additionally, this position will manage all current student communications, utilizing the office's Student Success Management System (EAB Navigate), the Student Information System (Banner), and other communications software platforms for analytical tracking and assessment of marketing campaigns. PRIMARY tasks:
• Creates, develops, implements, and tracks all outbound communications for purposes of retention, enrollment, and general marketing operations for student success.
• Ensures consistent and thoughtful messaging across all student populations and outside
entities.
• Formulates and manages communication plans for admitted and current students all over the re-enrollment stream.
• Supports the creation and delivery of all email marketing campaigns, Including developing copy, editing, and working across multiple platforms to maintain contact lists and schedules.
• Maintains weekly email performance reports.
• Provides support In the creation of all PowerPoint presentations ensuring that all messaging is consistent and up to date.
• Supports social media content and platforms to promote retention initiatives working with the university's social media manager.
• Supports retention and student success to ensure that all university events are scheduled and equipped with the necessary staff representation and promotional material.
• Coordinates with Advising, Student Success, Registrar, and the Financial Aid teams to maintain enrollment management websites to include the writing and maintenance of content and webpage layout.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Appropriate qualifications: MINIMUM Appropriate qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum two years' work practice, preferably In higher education, sales and/or marketing and communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication expertise.
• Able to effectively and proactively network with all university professionals.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership abilities, and presentation expertise.
• Competency and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
