Hours (3) ten hour shifts About the Job As Press Operator you would be responsible for operating and maintaining our digital printing presses, including our HP Indigo 7900. Responsibilities » Check that jobs are set up correctly for print » Perform press maintenance » Perform press troubleshooting and repair » Complete short run print projects » Inspect prints to make sure that they meet quality standards » Manage paper inventory » Order paper and other supplies and inventory » Work with vendors to place orders and schedule repairs » Communicate with other staff members/departments about print project specifications and issues or delays » Print finishing work (cutting, binding, etc) and packing as needed » Assist other departments as needed » Clean up and general maintenance Necessary expertise » A good sense of urgency, quality, organization, prioritization, and the capability to work with deadlines » High attention to detail » capability to work quickly » High level of comfort working with machines » Good troubleshooting instincts » Moderate level of aptitude with computers » Basic math expertise and capability to read measurements on a ruler » capability to travel for off-site training » Prior HP Indigo practice is a plus » Prior Print Shop practice is a plus » practice with Adobe Suite is a plus Benefits » Health Insurance » Dental Insurance » Vision Insurance » 401K » Paid Time Off » Paid Holidays » Employee Discount To Apply: Please email your resume and cover letter in PDF format to E-Mail: info@fireballprinting.com with the subject line "Digital Press Operator/HP Indigo Operator".
