Position Title:: Program Director, Pathways to Authentic College practices (PACE) Program
Open to:: Internal and External candidates
Full-Time or Part-Time Status: : Full-Time, 12 months

Position Summary or Faculty Appropriate qualifications: The Program Director will supervise the day-to-day operations of the Pathways to Authentic College practices (PACE) Program at Saint Joseph's University. This includes supervising the Program Coordinator, assisting with recruitment and retention of students, monitoring student progress and program success, training faculty, and assisting with data collection and reporting required by the U.S. Department of Education. The Program Director will support the PI/Project Director in carrying out administrative responsibilities in conformity with the project goals for PACE and in keeping with national standards and best practices to support an inclusive postsecondary educational practice at SJU for students with intellectual disabilities.

tasks and Job responsibilities:: ? Supervise the day-to-day operations of the PACE program
? Serve on search committees for PACE project staff
? Supervise Program Coordinator
? Conduct person-centered planning activities for students with intellectual disabilities
? Assist the LEA Partnership Coordinator with recruitment of students
? Provide continuing communication to families and students interested in and/or enrolled in the SJU PACE program
? Schedule regular check-ins with students in the PACE program, to monitor their success (i.e., academically, socially, emotionally, as well as in employment)
? Coordinate with other campus services and offices related to student needs
? Assist with faculty training and support
? Serve as a member of the PACE Advisory Board
? Support the PI in program implementation and adherence to project plan, striving to continually improve the program, as needed
? Assist with TPSID data collection and reporting
? Actively participate in PIHEC and TPSID meetings and trainings

Secondary Job responsibilities::
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:: ? Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends
? Must be willing to travel in the Philadelphia area

Hiring Range: $48,000-$50,000

Minimum Requirements:: ? Master's degree in Special Education
? practice in PK-12 special education
? Direct practice with young adults with intellectual disabilities
? practice with person-centered planning
? Commitment to inclusive postsecondary education practices

Preferred Appropriate qualifications:: ? Terminal degree in Special Education
? practice in higher education environments with individuals with intellectual disabilities
? expertise of universal design
? Higher education teaching practice

Additional Information:: This position is grant/gift funded and may end when funding is no longer available.
