Position Summary: The Department of Psychology at The University of Memphis invites applications for the position of Clinical adjunct Professor and Director of the Psychological Services Center. The Psychological Services Center is a training clinic supporting APA-accredited PhD programs in Clinical Psychology and School Psychology as well as a NASP-approved MA/EdS program in School Psychology. Information technology offers intervention and assessment services to a diverse client population drawn from the greater Memphis community. The Director will work closely with faculty across each of the graduate programs to collaboratively design and implement training and supervision activities. This is a 12-month, non-tenure track position that can be renewed located on performance and available funding with a start date in early 2022. Primary responsibilities include clinic management, clinical supervision, and teaching. We invite doctoral-level candidates with training in evidence-located therapy and assessment techniques who are licensed psychologists (or license-eligible) in Tennessee. Position Job responsibilities:
1. Promote an atmosphere that values diversity, equity, and inclusion across all professional activities
2. Provide supervision for graduate students engaged in evidence-located professional practice across a variety of assessment and intervention strategies and presenting problems.
3. Provide leadership abilities to the Psychological Services Center, including managing staff and the clinic budget and coordinating with faculty managers, other professionals, and students across the department
4. Provide a model for the development of professional and inter-professional practice skills
5. Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in candidate's area of skills
6. Engage in community outreach activities and maintain relationships with practitioners and agencies in the community
7. Support research within the Psychological Services Center
8. Provide service to department, university, community, state, and profession

Minimum Position Appropriate qualifications: The applicant must hold a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program and be licensed as a health service provider (or licensed eligible) in Tennessee. practice in providing psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention services and supervising graduate students.

Special Conditions: Availcapability to provide psychological services and supervision during day and evening hours.
