Job Offer: Festival/Event Coordinator:Job description:Festival/Event CoordinatorShare via:West Palm Beach, Florida Administrative / Accounting Part Time 2,500.00 per month Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission Apply to Job The Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission (FTC), located in West Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented and energetic Festival/Event Coordinator for the 27th Annual Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films (SSOF). The SSOF is a signature event of the FTC and is Florida's largest student film competition and awards show. Responsibilities for the Festival/Event Coordinator include organizing student entries internally and on Film Freeway, coordinating/organizing judges, presenters, schools and student finalists/winners, creating the event program, deploying invitations and press releases, ordering collateral and awards, writing correspondences and helping in the overall logistics of the film competition and the live award show. candidates should be proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook, possess strong written and verbal communication expertise, be a consummate team player and have practice with event planning. The Festival/Event Coordinator is a part-time, contracted position that pays $2,500 a month for a total of $15,000 for the six-month contract. Applicant must be able to attend meetings and event coordination site visits in person in the Palm Beach County region.
