Our primary focus and passion is for mixed-use housing projects all over the region. With several exciting projects in the beginning stages of development, we have an immediate opening for a Project Architect with 7+ years of practice who possesses strong design and graphic abilities as well as technical expertise. The ideal candidate can effectively work both collaboratively and independently, manage fast-paced deadlines while incorporating client and city feedback, and produce high-quality design and production drawings. We are pursuing a highly motivated, conscientious and detail-oriented person with strong communication and interpersonal expertise to join our team. Ottinger Architects supports a collaborative work environment and offers the opportunity to work on many facets of a project, from initial concept to construction. Our goal is to create a well-rounded office where we foster the opportunity for gaining a breadth of practices. Position Requirements: » Professional degree in Architecture » Licensed or on path to license preferred » Strong design / graphics expertise and a passion for urban design and creative housing solutions » Interest in sustainable design approaches » practice from concept design to drawing production - CA practice a plus » practice producing drawings for entitlement approvals » practice navigating the complex requirements for city approvals » practice working on affordable housing and mixed-use residential projects a plus » Working expertise of building construction types l, lll and V » Minimum of 3-years of Revit practice » Proficiency in Rhino, Enscape, V-Ray, Sketch-up and Adobe Creative Suite advantages: Ottinger Architects offers competitive benefits including medical, dental and 401k as well as three weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays and sick leave.
