Position Summary: The Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Research seeks a full-time, 9-month, tenure track faculty member for the Educational Psychology and Research program, with an emphasis on Adolescent Development, beginning August 15, 2022 (Position #001679). The Educational Psychology and Research Program is predominantly a doctoral educational program using an apprenticeship model and emphasizing research productivity. This program also provides a wide variety of service courses and academic support for all graduate degree programs in the College of Education. The position requires teaching of graduate courses, a significant program of scholarly research, research publications, the pursuit of external funding for research, mentoring and supervising research of graduate students, chairing and serving on master's and doctoral committees, and participating in national professional organizations and university and college committees. The prosperous candidate will teach courses primarily in human development, with a special emphasis on adolescent development.

Minimum Position Appropriate qualifications: Required
• An earned doctorate in Educational Psychology or closely related field
• skills in adolescent development with a broader perspective on how Information technology maps onto lifespan development and educational contexts
• Evidence of research potential and publication record
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

• Interdisciplinary and/or international practice conducting collaborative research

The Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Research (CEPR) offers seven graduate certificates, seven master's, and three doctoral degrees in its three principal areas (www.memphis.edu/cepr).
