There are currently several teacher adjunct positions available. The position is for this school year only, with no summer hours. 1. Assist teacher to design and implement a weekly lesson plan t hat aligns with learning results and frameworks, and individualizes specific expertise and interests of children 2. Have an consciousness of all aspects of a child's mental, nutritional and physical health through t he following: ? Assist children with toileting when necessary ? Promote self-help expertise including serving meals in a family style setting ? Assist children with mindfulness activities ? Assist children with 2nd Step ? Assist with non-nappers 3. Work cooperatively with teacher, classroom aide, volunteers, and parents 4. Prepare classroom cooperatively with teaching adjunct i n conformity with program guidelines: ? arranging and labeling furniture and materials ? maintaining postings ? reflective of children's l earning ? clean, safe, and welcoming ? materials are prepared, purposeful and differentiated before children arrive in the classroom 5. Maintain classroom environment that is safe, clean, and welcoming 6. Communicate between home and school through email, home visits, parent conferences, virtual meetings, and phone calls 7. Ensure classroom observations conducted by center coordinator reflect CLASS scores that meet or exceed t he national median domain scores 8. Meet the a.m. bus upon arrival and greet/welcome children and families as they enter the classroom. 9.
