RFRM Collective is interviewing for a fulltime Architectural Designer/Project Manager keen on design with a strong technical background. The ideal candidate will have practice and participate in managing small teams and multiple small to medium size projects from conceptualization to construction administration. The candidate must have the capability and the bandwidth to multitask, move between projects nimbly, and create project workflows.
» Collaboratively execute multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion
» Able to eloquently provide design input and project management skills
» Serve as client and consultant contact in coordination with consultants and produce/supervise the production of a full set of design drawings
» supervise project schedules & coordination with design fees monitoring them to ensure projects are on time and on budget
» Effectively preserve design intent and implement QA/QC standards
» Contribute practical knowledge of building codes, building materials, and construction knowledge
» Interest in luxury ground-up single family homes, interiors, and custom furniture.
» Desire to continually lgain new skills and able to take direction and initiative with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications //
» Professional degree in Architecture (BARCH, MARCH or both) from an US located accredited institution. Licensure is preferred but not required
» 2 to 5 years of professional architectural practice in the US, preferably in Southern California/Los Angeles area
» Local to Los Angeles with the capability to commute to the Arts District in Downtown on a regular basis
» practice working with city agencies, scheduling/staff workflow, coordinating consultants and managing a design team
» Highly proficient in creating presentation materials in Revit, Enscape, Rhino, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
» practice with construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD is a must.
» Motivated, independent, flexible, cooperative problem solver with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
» Extremely organized, collaborative, reliable, able to prioritize and change gears as required
»Authorization to work in the U.S. is a must
