Job Offer: Remote Tue, Nov 30 '21 Associate Drafter/Designer :OR.CAJob description:Associate Drafter/DesignerEmployer:OR.CA Job location:Remote Published:Tue, Nov 30 '21 Type:Part-time Designer to Join Growing Landscape Design Studio We are a bay area located Landscape Design studio seeking an associate drafter/designer to join our fast growing creative team. We have residential and commercial projects in the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles Basin, as well as Oregon, San Diego and out east. Our ethos is located on using natural materials in their rawest form. We work directly with clients, architects, fabricators, other designers and engineers to create forward thinking sustainable landscapes from conception to completion. We are seeking for a part-time team member to join us. Candidates should have excellent design capability that prioritizes the material language for accurate conveyance of our design thinking. Strong expertise in site plan layout, construction detailing, lighting layouts, planting design, and perspective renderings are required. Candidates should be well organized, self-motivated, self-directed, possess strong communication expertise, be a problem solver, and able to roll with the unpredictable nature of a small office. Responsibilities and Appropriate qualifications: » Design acumen / desire to grow into a leadership abilities function » Proficiency in ACAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite » practice with Revit models, blueprints and construction details a huge plus » Quality control, redline editing and review of drawing sets » Keen interest in softscape design and learning about native and drought resistant plant palettes » Materials / code research » Base mapping Job location: » Remote work location with occasional need for travel within and around SF Bay Area and Los Angeles. Compensation » Commensurate with practice » This is a part-time contract position with intent to quickly grow into a full time function.
