Job Offer: Development Manager:Job description:Lakeshore Players Theatre Development ManagerJob location: MN - Twin Cities MetroType: Full Time Job Category: Development and fundraising Deadline: City: White Bear Lake, MN income: $35,000 – $40,000 per year Organization website: www.LakeshorePlayers.org Is this a remote / work in the house position?: No, this is a site-located position Job descriptionPosition: Development ManagerReports to: Executive Director, Managing Director Employment Type: Full-time salaried income Range: $35,000-$40,000, located on practice advantages: Health insurance contribution, generous PTO Deadline: Priority consideration given to applications submitted by Friday December 10 – open until filled Position Description The Development Manager manages the day-to-day operations of Lakeshore Players Theatre's development initiatives and supervises execution of strategic plans set forth by board, Executive Director, and Managing Director in the areas of resource development. Primary tasks 1. Prospect Research and Cultivation -Develop new relationships & maintain/cultivate relationships with individuals, institutions, and foundations -Work with the board, Executive Director, and Managing Director to develop specific, measurable plans of action for current and potential donors -Coordinate with the Marketing Team and Resource Development Committee to develop programming sponsorships -Database updating: thank you letters, giving histories, correspondence, etc. -contact and share findings with staff, Resource Development Committee, and Board of Directors 2. Development Events -In coordination with the Resource Development Committee and senior staff, supervise & coordinate the annual gala -Coordinate event planning for other fundraising, donor-cultivation, and opening night events -List preparation, invitations, follow-up calls, vendor liaising, and implementation & reporting for all fundraising events 3. Stewardship & Gift Reporting – Process & acexpertise all gifts, send thank-you letters, make thank-you calls, update pledge schedules, etc. -Utilize Patron Manager (our patron & ticketing CRM) to generate reports for annual mailing campaigns and other donor recognition lists -Maintain communication with prospects & donors to ensure positive relationships -Update donor page in show programs and ensure continued acexpertisement of donors 4. Communications -Work with Marketing Associate/external designers to develop printed & digital campaign and fundraising collateral (email, letters, postcards, ads, social media, website, etc.) -List preparation for annual fund campaigns, mailings, and donor-only events -Give tours to prospective donors & performers Grant Research and Writing -Research and write general operating & special projects grants -Maintain grant paper/digital files & database correspondence -Maintain grant calendar and ensure submittals of grants and reports by deadlines -Maintain relationships with foundations and program managers Qualifications or requirements-Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work practice-Detail-oriented, organized, high achiever with excellent interpersonal and communication expertise -Visible leadership abilities expertise and desire to advance the organization -expertise of industry best practices -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and data entry -A self-starter with the capability to work autonomously & as part of a team -expertise of customer relationship management software -Specific expertise of Salesforce Patron Manager is preferred How to submit the application:Please email your resume, cover letter, and references to E-Mail: jobs@lakeshoreplayers.org.
