The University of Memphis is an R2 Research University emphasizing scholarship, teaching, and service. The University of Memphis is committed to achieving R1 classification by 2023, and the Criminology and Criminal Justice Department is a research-intensive group of faculty working within an environment committed to community engagement and collaboration. A Juris Doctorate or Ed.D. will not be considered as a terminal degree for this position. These are generalist positions, and all specializations will be considered.
