Job Offer: Administrative Coordinator:KXCIJob description: Administrative Coordinator Listing description TITLE: Administrative Coordinator FLSA STATUS: Exempt, Full Time REPORTS TO: Executive Director income: $40,000 to $46,000 Job Site: Hybrid, primarily in office with some remote work About KXCI Community Radio KXCI is a diverse, independent, and community-located radio station serving Tucson and Southern Arizona. Founded in 1983, KXCI is committed to connecting the communities of Tucson and Southern Arizona to each other - and the world - with informative, engaging, and creative community-located programming. More than 35,000 listeners tune in to the station each week over the air and online. KXCI plays music from all genres and eras, as well as informative, locally-produced short-form programs, provided by 70+ volunteer DJs and on-air hosts. The organization currently operates with a budget of approximately $1M. SUMMARY: The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for database management, credit card reconciliation, contacting donors via email and letters, preparing mailings - both electronic and physical, creating and/or maintaining filing systems- both electronic and physical, office management including ensuring the office has all needed supplies, keeping meeting minutes. This Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director and Director of Operations and Donor Relations. OTHER Job responsibilities: Supports KXCI events as requested. Attends Board Meetings as needed. Supports main KXCI functions as deemed appropriate by the Executive Director. The ideal candidate should have: » Familiarity with KXCI programs » Prior practice in the nonprofit field » Proficiency with CRMs, Microsoft Office, Google Suite » Basic accounting expertise (valuable, but not required) » Effective written and oral communication expertise » Demonstrated capability to be proactive, take initiative, exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in all tasks » capability to work prosperously with different work styles and approaches » Strong analytical expertise, be detail oriented, have time management and organizational expertise. » Confidential information management » Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias » capability to work some weekends or evenings and to occasionally adjust hours to accommodate the needs of the job » capability to take initiative and work independently using good judgment to know when to seek direction and clarification » Comfort and capability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders, including volunteers and donors » Time and priority management » Organization and systems/process thinking WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to prosperously perform the essential functions of this job.
