Job description

Studio Interns support Highpoint’s mission in the following ways:
Assist with the day-to-day studio operations
Assist in superviseing the safe use of the shop, materials, and equipment
Assist in ordering inventory, stocking supplies, and researching projects, techniques, and equipment
Assist with publishing projects, visiting artists, and events
Assist with all aspects of our exhibition spaces
Assist with other projects as needed
Compensation is $15/hour, payment is issued once per month

Qualifications or requirements

Interns must be able to commit to an average of 11 weeks for a minimum of 16 scheduled hours per week. The best intern is not always the person with the most printmaking practice! Printmaking practice is valuable, but dependcapability, initiative, attention to detail, organizational expertise, and the capability/availability to lgain are paramount. Additionally, strong interpersonal expertise, interest in printmaking practices, and the capability to work well with others are also important. Preference is given to graduate students, recent graduates and those wishing to work consecutive terms. Highpoint does not discriminate against persons of any group or identity.
