We have a team of over 40 with some working at the main studio in Los Angeles while many work remotely all across the US. As Hippo's Video Producer, you will lead our video production team, inspiring them to be creative, forward thinking, and engaged. This is your domain. Your jam. The Position Strategic leader - You'll drive the strategic vision for the video department and set quality standards for all video company-wide. You're a steward for best practices and have an intuitive focus on content and entertainment. You have practice crewing and equipping productions for various sizes and needs. Build strong relationships - You'll work cross functionally to support the education, marketing, and live event departments with their video production needs. You'll work with faculty to ensure they are set up for success in the studio and hire talented crew to get jobs done. Project management - You'll create and manage departmental and project budgets, staffing, processes, and timelines. You are proactive about improving processes, accountable for meeting deadlines, and agile to make room for new ideas and experimentation. Your spreadsheet expertise are fire. General management - You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of video department staff and independent contractors. Studio management - You'll ensure the studio is properly equipped, safety protocols are followed, and supervise gear inventory. Ensure all educational content meets CME requirements.
