We have a team of over 40 with some working at the main studio in Los Angeles while many work remotely all across the US. Hippo's a great place to work and we're genuinely proud of the impact we have on clinicians and their patients As a Video Editor for Hippo, you will be an integral part of our video production team, helping to create the best medical education available. Responsibilities Flawlessly and efficiently edit educational videos to enhance viewer learning and engagement Edit promotional videos and creative videos such as skits and parodies Manage the post production workflow for multiple products including covering all clinical and creative revisions Quality control - ensuring all videos meet Hippo's quality and brand standards Basic dialogue editing, sound design, and audio mastering Graphics and titling - lower thirds, slates, slide edits, graphic overlays Color grading DIT, project and file organization Accountable to the team through regular, clear communication and meeting deadlines Details Job location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA (Woodland Hills) with flexible remote-work days Reports to: Video Producer income: $70,000 - $75,000 4 weeks paid vacation 401(k) matching, healthcare, vision, and dental Hippo practices a healthy work-life balance and offers flexibility and reasonable hours.
