Our Story:

re:imagine/ATL was launched in 2014 to equip the next generation of storytellers to thrive in the creative media industry. Our programs unite youth from diverse backgrounds while teaching workforce development expertise, creating access to high-demand career pathways, forging industry relationships, and nurturing untold stories within the greater community. We are a powerful driver of economic mobility and authentic storytelling. We're also small and mighty, punching above our weight in visibility, brand love, impact, and excellence.

We're most proud of:

Equipping 5,000+ Atlanta youth across 45+ schools and training 500+ teachers
Producing 100+ digital assets like music videos, documentaries, podcasts, songs, more
Launching the first ever federally-registered apprenticeship training program for creative media in Georgia
An incredibly diverse team that hustles hard, and a committed board that influences Atlanta

This Moment:

Atlanta has the highest earnings inequality in the nation. On average, the lowest 20% of earners make under $10,000/year while the highest 20% gain over $250,000/year. Simultaneously, Georgia has a $37 billion creative industry that produces blockbuster films, albums, podcasts, esports teams, cultural icons, creative agencies, and much more #AtlantaInfluencesEverything.

While talent is equally distributed in our city, access to opportunity surely is not. We are here to deal with this problem.

We seek a leader who will take re:imagine/ATL to the next level -- helping shape access and entry into the creative industries for generations to come while fostering a platform of extraordinary storytelling. Our organization (and our city) are truly at a pivotal moment. Whoever steps into this function will build off a strong foundation and lead us into our next chapter.

Here are some highlights:

Your predecessor hands over an organization in a strong place financially and operationally
We added 6 new board members (12 total) who will be with you each step of the way
We just completed a professionally-led strategic planning process. We know for the next three years we will focus on:
increasing exposure for re:imagine's impact on students and its partners through data-driven storytelling
formalizing a culture of representation for students, industry partners, board and staff to understand and embrace the importance of a diverse, inclusive industry and organization
increasing opportunities for thoughtful strategic partnerships and increased operational capacity
