Listing description Spokane Public Radio is seeking a full-time creative marketing and events specialist to join our organization. You will be an integral part of the development and implementation of marketing and events. Qualified candidates will be well-versed in marketing concepts, principals and tactics. You will team up with our outreach manager to accomplish all aspects of event planning and execution. We are a small non-profit organization that encourages innovation and team work. Familiarity with public radio and non-profit organizations is preferred. If you are a self-starter who is excited to bring your marketing skills to a growing non-profit that focuses on news, the arts, and culture this could be a great opportunity to make a big impact. tasks: Marketing (70%) » Create and implement marketing plans » Implement outreach to increase brand consciousness » Work with management to create long-term and short-term marketing goals » Data analytics » Manage social media platforms » Create print and digital promotional materials » Email marketing » Collaborate with multiple departments to produce station guide » Video recording and photography » Promote Fund Drive and other fundraising events » Other tasks as assigned Events (30%) » Collaborate with outreach manager on Kids' Concerts and other events » Organize and facilitate fundraising events » Promote SPR at local events » Collaborate with on-air departments » Work with management to increase promotional events » Other tasks as assigned Appropriate qualifications: Required » Excellent spoken and written communication skills » Proficient with InDesign and Photoshop » Social media management » Building brand consciousness » Creating and implementing marketing campaigns » Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and 1-2 years of practice or equivalent years of practice » Excellent interpersonal skills » Self-motivated and able to work independently » Must also be able to work collaboratively and accept feedback » Website Management practice Desired » Proficient in multimedia communications » Background in the non-profit sector » Strong organizational and event planning skills » practice with Constant Contact and HTML » Data analytics » Audio and Video editing » practice coordinating community outreach This is a full-time position offering medical, dental, vacation, sick leave, personal days, life insurance, and retirement benefits.
