Job Opportunity: RADIO STAFF REPORTER/PRODUCER I/II/III:Central Michigan University WCMUJob description: RADIO STAFF REPORTER/PRODUCER I/II/III Listing description The position of Radio Staff Producer/Reporter writes and produces everyday content for radio broadcast and digital platforms. This will include spot packages, two-way interviews, enterprise and feature reports. This position also serves as primary, local fill-in host for NPR News magazines Morning Edition and All Things Considered.Radio Staff Producer/Reporter I (BR-1) Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work practice. practice in reporting situations, including impromptu interview questioning and scripted situations. practice in field news gathering or remote recording situations. Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively and project a positive image. capability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. General expertise of digital editing and studio situations. Must possess basic announcing expertise. capability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with faculty, students, visitors and fellow work associates. capability to execute the essential functions and requirements of the job. Radio Staff Producer/Reporter II (BR-2) Meets all required qualifications of Radio Staff Producer/Reporter I and; Minimum of two years' professional practice in reporting situations, field news gathering and/or remote recording situations. Demonstrated professional proficiency in digital editing and studio situations. Demonstrated professional proficiency in announcing. capability to complete tasks independently. Radio Staff Producer/Reporter III (BR-3) Meets required qualifications of Radio Staff Producer I, II and; Demonstrates advanced broadcast and digital copy writing and editing expertise, and expertise of reporting techniques. Demonstrates advanced capability to operate radio equipment, including expertise of digital multi-track editing systems. Must possess advanced announcing expertise.
