This is a 9-month non-tenure-track appointment. Hiring is contingent on final budget approval. Job responsibilities: Effectively delivering course instruction, evaluating student learning, participating in related department activities, and complying with all College and University regulations. Instructors normally teach four 3-credit courses per semester. For this position, the instructor will be responsible for teaching on-ground and/or on-line sections that could include MIS 2749 Foundation/Information Systems, MIS3210 Critical Thinking Using Analytics, MIS 4760 Web Site Development, MIS 2845 Applied Program Development I, or other courses as needed. Minimum Position Appropriate qualifications: Appropriate qualifications: Candidates with an appropriate master's degree and significant related practice will be considered. Ph.D. in management information systems or related discipline is desired. Prior college teaching practice in areas related to introductory information systems, systems analysis and design, programming, and online instruction is desired.
