The prosperous candidate will have 1-3 years of practice in the creation of design schematics and field surveying. If you have motivation plus practice, presentation skills, coupled with a professional attitude and appearance, and possess attention to detail, you may qualify for this opportunity. Position Description We are pursuing a highly motivated Junior Architect with 1-3 years of practice with a professional degree from an accredited architecture school. The candidate will be exposed to all phases of architectural projects from project field dimensioning to schematics to assisting with construction administration. Essential tasks and Qualifications » Site surveying / drafting of existing conditions in AutoCAD » Drafting architectural plans » Preparing construction documents » Assisting with construction administration » Preparing presentation materials To Join Us, You Will Have » knowledge of construction drawings, requirements, and standards » Junior Technical skills » Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed » Strong hand and CAD drafting skills. » Expert proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to AutoCAD, MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe Suite and SketchUp graphic software preferred. » Collaborative and professional work ethic, team player » capability to be flexible in multi-tasking and assignment adjustments. » Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills » capability to effectively meet deadlines. » Strong organizational and time management skills » capability to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment with supervision. » Sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders » Creative thinking and problem-solving skills » Professional yet personable demeanor » Detail oriented with strong analytical skills » Proactive nature and initiative » capability to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment In addition to our competitive wages and incentives, we provide the opportunity to become an integral part of the continued growth of our organization.
