This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The incumbent leads outreach and recruitment efforts for our clinically located teacher education programs on behalf of the College of Education. They work with Program Leads to plan and attend recruitment events to answer questions of current and future Clinically located Elementary Education MAT/BS students. They assist our Clinically located Elementary Education MAT and BS programs with recruitment-located projects. They plan social events and support social media campaigns. They answer questions from potential students and assist students in applying for the program. They work with Program Leads to develop partnerships with external agencies and/or communities, including but not limited to K12 districts and community colleges, to increase the visibility of degree pathways to a broad base of prospective students, with particular attention to communities that are under-represented in our programs. Collects and analyzes various data to help determine future practices, strategies, and initiatives. 40% Facilitate prospective students' navigation of the application, enrollment, and (if applicable) transfer process, in coordination with community colleges, K12 school districts, university offices, and other partners. 20% Co-design promotional materials, develop and deliver presentations, and engage with College and University faculty and administration, as well as community partners, to create a more diverse pathway for educator candidates.
