Support Information technology Systems Perform senior level network and systems administration in a multi-platform, multi-location, hybrid work environment » Participate in all aspects of planning, developing, implementing, upgrading, administering and securing network premise and cloud infrastructure » Apply safeguards and other measures to protect the security, availcapability and integrity of company data, systems, networks and applications; perform regular monitoring to verify the integrity, security and availcapability of systems and networks » Develop, implement and follow preventative maintenance plans and procedures, as well as disaster recovery plans; administer the backup program, perform test and live restores » Analyze, diagnose and repair server, network and other system or application failures; troubleshoot and resolve other Information technology issues » Develop and maintain technical expertise so they are current with existing and emerging technologies and practices II. Manage & Collaborate » Effectively manage Information technology projects » Research, evaluate, propose, develop, implement and administer system enhancements, workflow improvements and other solutions that support business needs » Work with other departments to understand and support their Information technology needs; provide technical support and guidance to users » Coordinate activities with vendors and others » Participate in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, documentation and training materials » Participate in the development and application of Information technology budgets and work plans; purchase and maintain records for approved Information technology hardware, software, support and service » Follow Information technology security best practices and participate in efforts to meet compliance standards, including PCI DSS » Deliver quality customer service while remaining security-minded » Back up and support other Information technology staff as needed » Other tasks, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice EDUCATION AND practice » Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practice required » Five years' practice in network and systems administration in a fast-paced business environment required; capability to execute senior level network and systems administration in a multi-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac) environment required » practice with planning, implementing, administering and securing network infrastructure including network security appliances, routers, managed switches, wireless access points, servers, workstations, peripherals, cabling and other equipment. practice with Sonicwall, Aruba, Fortinet and Cisco products a plus » Expert level knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and advanced Information technology networking concepts required. practice with IPv6 a plus » practice with network monitoring and log aggregation tools preferred » practice with disaster recovery and business continuity planning; practice with the administration of backup solutions required » practice implementing, upgrading and administering Windows Servers, including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server and Hyper-V required; practice administering Microsoft cloud products including Azure, Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online and InTune preferred » practice supporting and administering Linux distributions and open-source databases (CentOS, MySQL, etc.) required » Working knowledge of scripting tools and command shells (e.g. CMD, PowerShell, Bash) required » practice administering AWS tools (e.g. Route 53; S3; EC2) preferred » practice administering a variety of database-driven business applications (e.g. Salesforce), including configuring and supporting integrations with other systems and applications, preferred » practice with workstation imaging and deployment solutions and automated application deployment tools preferred » practice deploying and maintaining VoIP solutions and supporting mobile devices and applications preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS » capability to execute work tasks under stress and time pressures » capability to travel to remote sites periodically » capability to work some evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts » capability to lift and carry 30 pounds unassisted » capability to climb, twist, bend, kneel, crawl and reach above head as required » capability to sit and type on a keyboard for long periods of time » Knowledge of and capability to use a variety of hand tools to support Information technology work » capability to work in noisy, cold environment periodically Cascade Public Media is committed to building a team that represents a diversity of thought, practice and personal background Organization: Cascade Public Media Job Job location: Seattle, WA United States Job Job Category: Information Technology (IT) Deadline: Employment Type: Full time Send Application Materials To: Please apply here.
