About Our Job:The Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable process within the Finance department as well as preparing general ledger entries, monthly account reconciliations, and assisting with the month- and year-end close processes for CPR, KRCC, Denverite and all current and future related entities.As a Accounts Receivable Specialist You Will:» Generate monthly billing invoices and statements for corporate sponsorship (underwriting), rents, and other; work closely with various departments on payment processing» Perform everyday cash management tasks, including the recording of incoming and outgoing bank activities » Receive, process and deposit cash, checks, credit card, and ACH payments for donation, corporate sponsorship and administrative » Maintain accounts receivable sub-ledger to ensure aging is up-to-date, credits and collections are applied, and uncollectible amounts are written off » Upload EFT file to bank and maintain EFT return and chargeback reports; prepare check requests for reimbursement as needed Minimum Appropriate qualifications:» High school diploma/GED required, or equivalent work practice» 3 - 5 years of practice broadly related to the position's responsibilities required » practice with general ledger functions and month- and year-end close processes » Intermediate to advance expertise in Microsoft Office Suites » practice with accounting systems Preferred Appropriate qualifications:» practice with Great Plains» practice with Google Drive advantages:Colorado Public Radio is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package that reflects our culture of caring.
