Offer: Video Production Specialist:Job description:Video Production SpecialistShare via:Oxford, Ohio (Allows Telecommuting) Film / Motion Picture Production Full Time 58,000.00 — 62,000.00 per year Miami University Veteran Friendly Apply to Job The Video Production Specialist will support and collaborate to create engaging learning environments through video production and editing with a goal of facilitating learners in acquiring expertise, expertise, and competencies. tasks/Physical Demands: The Video Production Specialist will provide video production for technologically mediated courses; shoot and edit video according to scripts and style guides, in the field and in-studio, for broadcast-quality products; post-production responsibilities - video and audio editing, graphics, format, and upload to video management solution; quality control: closed captioning, format scripts and check materials, maintain video studio and equipment, coach faculty and talent to execute on camera. Support faculty-generated recordings; implement multimedia learning resources for technologically mediated courses; maintain logs of projects and determine priorities. Position is authorized to work remotely 40% (2 days a week) of weekly working hours with the remaining 60% (3 days a week) on campus. This full-time position is benefits eligible (see MiamiOH.edu/human-resources/my-benefits-wellness/). Minimum Appropriate qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of practice in video production; Demonstrated practice in all facets of video production, including concept development, location scouting, scheduling, talent management, filming, organizing, and archiving video assets; Expert-level proficiency using professional video equipment, including but not limited to digital video cameras, DSLR cameras, lenses, microphones, audio equipment, and lighting equipment; capability to work extended hours and travel as required. This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship. Desired Appropriate qualifications: Consideration may be given to candidates with 5+ years of video production practice; demonstrated practice of creating broadcast quality motion graphics; teaching practice (online, hybrid, or face-to-face); capability to train one-on-one and in a group setting; practice in producing media for technologically mediated courses; capability to work independently or on a team; capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; can effectively communicate and interact with faculty, staff, students, outside contacts, and multiple project stakeholders.
