Job Summary/Basic Function: Brief Description:
Lamar University seeks a tenure-track practiced adjunct Professor in Spanish who can teach in the online Master of Arts in Teaching Spanish Degree and in the face-to-face and online Spanish program.

tasks and Job responsibilities:
Ideal candidates will be well qualified and have practice at the graduate and the undergraduate level, preferably in Spanish Linguistics. But since we are a small department, we will consider other areas of skills. The Department of English and Modern Language expects quality research and departmental, college, university, and regional/national service for tenure track positions.

income: income will be commensurate with qualifications and practice with appointment expected at a minimum rank of associate professor.

Minimum Qualifications (Education & practice): Minimum qualifications include:
• A Ph.D. in Spanish in hand.
• practice or capability to work in diverse online platforms.
• Native or near native fluency in Spanish.
