Job Opportunity: MPT Director/Editor:Maryland Public TelevisionJob description: MPT Director/Editor Listing description This position will provide practiced, high-quality service to regional and national productions as well as non-broadcast special projects. The individual in this position will function as a multi-camera studio and/or field director and technical director as the situation warrants. This position is responsible for the 'look' of the program, timing and coordination of all technical facilities and personnel. The individual will provide non-linear editing services in both an 'off-line' and 'on-line' capacity for broadcast and non-broadcast clients. This position helps manage shared media workspaces and troubleshoots computer-located editing systems.This is a Special Appointment position and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.
