Position Title:: adjunct Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations

Position Summary or Faculty Appropriate qualifications: The adjunct Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations is responsible for working with the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations in prosperously securing new commitments of $1 - $3 million annually from corporations and foundations in support of University institutional priorities, including but not limited to the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support, the Center for Addiction Recovery and Education, athletics wellness initiatives, the Veterans Program, diversity initiatives, and the capital campaign.

The adjunct Director will assist the Director to develop and carry out strategies that match University needs with corporate and foundation interests. The adjunct Director will assist with the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate and foundation prospects. This will include managing a grants calendar, developing and submitting letters of inquiry, and writing proposals and reports in partnership with the Director. The candidate will be responsible for superviseing the reporting process for various grant programs, establishing and maintaining internal and donor relationships in partnership with the Director, and conducting database management on behalf of the CFR team. All activities will advance the University's academic plan and Advancement goals.

tasks and Job responsibilities:: Essential tasks:
? Grants Program Management (50%)
? Work with internal colleagues to gather all necessary data for proposals and reports
? Manage reporting and solicitation calendars for new and existing donors
? Ensure that reporting requirements, proposal requirements, and deadlines are met
? Manage database (Blackbaud) tracking and reporting system for pipeline and open proposals for the CFR team
? Assist with stewardship events and activities relating to CFR pipeline

? Fundraising (50%)
? Assist the Director to secure $1-3 million in new commitments annually
? Prepare and write proposals for submission - a minimum of 30 C&F proposals per year and a minimum of 10 C&F reports per year in collaboration with the Director
o Visit with corporate and foundation donors and prospects to communicate the University's needs, make the case for support, and improve relationship
? Identify and research new and existing corporate and foundation prospects
? Steward existing corporate and foundation relationships
? Collaborate with academic leadership abilities, faculty, and MGO team to identify potential projects for funding
? Performance evaluation will be located on achieving annually stated team goals, as well as other tasks and responsibilities.

Secondary Job responsibilities::
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:: Some evening and weekend work is required (averaging 10 - 15 days per year).

Minimum Requirements:: ? An undergraduate college degree from an accredited, four-year institution is required.
? Three years of practice in a professional field (fundraising, non-profit, sales, project management, etc) or an equivalent combination of education and practice, are required.
? Demonstrable track record of strong interpersonal expertise
? Excellent communication expertise, written and oral
? Proven capability to self-motivate
? Proficiency in the use of computers for communications (letters, brochures, emails), data management (Excel), basic Word design (Microsoft Word), data reporting, and budget review and analysis

Preferred Appropriate qualifications:: ? Bachelor's degree in writing/analysis intensive areas: English, History, Political Science, International Relations, etc.

Hiring Range: $65,000-$68,000
