Minimum QualificationsMaster's in Computer Science or related field preferred; practice in 3D animation, 3D applications, 3D modeling and animation expertise, motion graphics design/2D graphics. practice to include game design in a programming software such as Python, Java, C++, or C#. Must assist Information technology in maintaining the classroom/lab with recommendations on software, hardware, and upkeep. Optimal candidate will demonstrate outstanding student service and interpersonal communication expertise. Previous teaching preferred.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's in Computer Science or related field required.Must have industry expertise of animation, production standards, game design, game history, testing, and career development.
Position DescriptionInstruct Gaming and 3D Animation courses to college and high school students; facilitate learning with lectures, hands-on tutorials, and project assignments; maintain grade and attendance records; recognize and respond appropriately to student diversity; utilize clear learning goals with well-planned activities; keep weekly office hours on campus. Some remote teaching may be required.
